Within the first 60 days from the date your device was shipped to you, you may return it and request a refund by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with subject line “Refund Request for [Organization Name]”. The body of your email must include the MEID DEC number for each device that you would like to return for a refund. (The MEID DEC number is located on a sticker on the box that your device was sent as well as the sticker under the battery of each device.)
Mobile Beacon will request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from Sprint.* Please note that when this request is initiated, Sprint will immediately cancel service on the device as part of their process.
The RMA kit typically arrives within 7-10 business days and it will specify the timeframe in which your device must be returned. Please note: You are responsible for returning the device within the time period specified in the RMA instructions and for returning the device and associated parts. Refunds will not be issued for any device if Sprint does not receive the RMA 100% intact.
Once we receive confirmation from Sprint** that the device has been returned and accepted, Mobile Beacon will issue a refund that includes full, unused months of the service fee (currently $10/month) and the price you paid for the device (excluding shipping and handling). Refunds will not be issued for the service fee or device after the first 60-days from your device’s shipment date except as otherwise specified in Mobile Beacon’s LTE Customer Agreement.
*If you are returning a Netgear 6100D modem, Mobile Beacon will provide you will specific instructions on how to return the device.
** Sprint reserves the right to charge a $35 restocking fee for a returned device. If this cost is incurred, you will be responsible for paying this fee.
