Mobile Beacon Welcomes Angelo Miccoli as Director of Operations and Administration and Cristina Graham as Program Director

(Johnston, Rhode Island) August 29, 2017 – Mobile Beacon is pleased to announce that Angelo Miccoli and Cristina Graham are joining the organization.

Miccoli joins Mobile Beacon as the Director of Operations and Administration. In this role, he oversees the operations, finance, customer service, human resources, and information technology functions of the organization. Miccoli brings over 30 years of experience to Mobile Beacon. He was most recently with the United Way of Rhode Island for over 16 years. He started as a controller and moved up the ladder to become the Director of Internal Operations and ultimately the Senior Vice President of United Way 211.

“In today’s world, having a computer or laptop is not good enough; you also need to have reliable internet access. The internet opens up a world of opportunities for people who didn’t have connectivity before,” Miccoli said. “The mission of Mobile Beacon is to give nonprofits the tools they need to change the world. The sky’s the limit here. I’m excited to be joining the Mobile Beacon team and working toward this mission.”

Graham joins Mobile Beacon as the Program Director, bringing over 20 years of experience to this role. She recently moved to Rhode Island from California where she was the Director of Operations for the Cesar Chavez Foundation. In addition to overseeing the operations of the organization, Graham led the education initiatives for the Cesar Chavez Foundation. In her role with Mobile Beacon, Graham is responsible for the strategic planning and administration of all of Mobile Beacon’s service and grant programs

“I was looking for an organization that I felt a calling for the mission and work that I cared about,” Graham said. “I feel like I found that here. It is great to be a part of something that is new and exciting and has endless possibilities.”

“Angelo and Cristina join Mobile Beacon during a period of tremendous growth for our organization,” said Katherine Messier, Executive Director of Mobile Beacon. “We’re fortunate to not only add the depth of their management and business development experience to our team, but also their passion for helping us achieve our vision. Together, we will deliver more services to the nonprofit sector and help these organizations better meet the needs of the millions of people and causes they serve every day.”
