West Branch Middle School Awarded Grant to Help Close the Homework Gap

BELOIT — West Branch Middle School received the Connect for Success Grant from Mobile Beacon, which will give kids access to internet service who do not currently have it.

WBMS Librarian, Megan Woods read about the Mobile Beacon program and immediately applied in hopes of bringing internet service to students who do not have access. Mobile Beacon’s grant provides 25 laptops and 25 mobile hotspots with free, unlimited 4G LTE internet service for 12 months. With this grant, WBMS will help students gain internet access at home.
