One of the things we love most about our jobs is knowing that we’re helping other nonprofit organizations fulfill some truly worthwhile missions. In honor of Valentine’s Day, here are some that are especially close to our hearts.
A Child’s Hope International
This Ohio-based organization provides care for orphans and vulnerable children through adoption, foster care, orphan care, and humanitarian relief.
Tails of Aloha
This Hawaiian organization strengthens the human-animal bond through animal assisted therapy and animal assisted activities at hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, schools and libraries.
Health Emergency Lifeline Programs
Based in Michigan, they provide financial assistance, food, case management and mental health services to low-income individuals with HIV/AIDS.
Extreme Community Makeover
This group coordinates volunteer teams that partner with underserved people to improve their own homes and neighborhoods in Colorado.
Mission Life Center
This center provides medical & social services for community members at or below the 200% poverty level in Virginia.
